Written In Blood Vol.1 Redux

Well, it's finally here, October! A couple of years ago my buddy Nick at Ghostcapital posted my Written In Blood series. Since then I've been working on yet another volume, tracked down better quality recordings, and re-imported all the music at 320kps. Here's the original blurb from the debut post that sums it up pretty well.

Written In Blood was designed and compiled by good friend, musician and soundtrack fanatic, Nate Ashley. Nate's been working on completing this 5-disc magnum-opus anthology of rare and essential horror movie music for many, many years. It's drawn from vinyl, cd, VHS, DVD -and in recent years- rare mp3 soundtrack sources. His knowledge of the genre and commitment to perfection has yielded what I consider to be an instant-classic bootleg compilation, featuring eerie custom graphics all lovingly designed by Mr. Ashley himself. 


I appreciated the positive responses to the original posts. Before the whole blogosphere thing I was never really able to share these comps and didn't realize how many other people enjoyed this type of music. I'll be posting all 6 volumes this month with a new 7th on Halloween to bring things up to speed.
